Yes, that is the moon of Majora's Mask in the fourth panel. He just needed to make sure that our main character was asleep. Of course, he changed his mind at the last second and decided to go check on a child. Maybe one day he'll check on you when you sleep.

Now, what about that panel a little after that? The main character says "I just hope it's not... Him..." It looks like he's bringing back the traumatic incident that kept him from playing Animal Crossing. And it was caused by somebody in the game, who wasn't Nook. That doesn't happen very often, what could've happened? Even I don't know! I didn't plan that far ahead! I better get working!

And yes, just in case you're wondering, I do know the language of phones. It was a gift given to me when I was a child. So whenever a phone rings, you'll be seeing what the phone is saying in phone language.

Yup... And no, I'm not crazy... You're crazy... You're all crazy...
