I've had a history of hating Pikachu. Not because he's a yellow rat or anything, but because they've completely screwed up every game that has anything to do with Pokemon just because he's in the freakin' show.

Before the show was Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. The only time you'd ever see Pikachu was in some random forest in the beginning. Then comes all the new games where Pikachu has a bigger role, and it takes out the original fun of the game. Not to mention the release all these games like "Hey you Pikachu!" and "Pokemon Channel." Pokemon Snap itself was a pretty good game, but Pikachu was in almost every level. He's even a main character in Smash Bros games! It angers me.

pikachu gets annoying after awhile for me. so in my emerald, i taught it Self Destruct (did i spell it right?) by using my Action Replay for GBA

Nobody said Dalgia.

The word Palkia was in the comic, but that's a different one.
